If you thought your day was hard, spare a thought for my good friend Hamish Reid. Today Hamish embarks on the adventure of a lifetime by attempting to become the first person to row around the entire British Isles!
Now, although this journey may sound fun, especially compared to the shed load of emails and deadlines you have to cope with today….let’s take a closer look at the reality of the venture.
Hamish will have to put up with horrific seas sickness for the first few days, get used to a sleep wake cycle of 4 hours, sleep in a cabin the size of a large coffin AND encounter some of the most dangerous seas in the world (especially when he enters the North Sea)
You can keep up to speed with Hamish’s Progress on this map Here!
And show your supporting him on his website HERE.

If you choose to do steady state jogging instead of metabolic strength training you are likely to be DECREASING your lean muscle mass and, after a few weeks, decreasing the amount of food your body can consume before it converts excess energy to fat. Keep reading →
