If you are anything like me this quote can make an awful lot of sense.

It seems that we use up so much energy just staying on top of things, that there is so little left for improvement or moving forward.

So how do we make REAL progress this year?

For me, one of the most powerful tools in any area of personal change is simply FOCUS. With SO many distractions out there, is it any wonder that by mid February we can hardly remember what our new year resolution were, let alone stay on track for achieving them.

Setting up regular habits of accountability is the real secret to long term success.

Here are just a few things you can do to make sure you stay focused on what you really want this year, rather than what simply comes your way e.g Niagra syndrome.

Measure your self regularly, and record the measurements. You can’t manage it, if you won’t measure it.

Keep a nutrtional diary

Write down weekly monthly quarterly and yearly goals and review them daily.

Now, all of this is about 15 minutes a day, and if done regularly will go 80% of the way towards success. However 95% of people never do it! To find out why read the next blog post tomorrow…
